Disney Vacation - Part 1

We just returned from an absolutely magically trip to Disney with our sweet princess.  The time we spent with her was so amazing.  I don't think I have seen her smile so much in my life.  We left on Saturday, October 6 and returned on Friday, October 12.
Waiting at the airport for her first airplane ride.
Having a sucker on the plane in hopes that her ears wouldn't bother her.  Two has to be better than one, right!?!

On the Magical Express bus to our hotel.  They played a video about Disney on the bus which starts with families telling their children they are going to Disney.  Chuck and I were both teary eyed just watching the video.  We both knew that Chesney was going to have a blast!
When we arrived at our hotel, the Grand Floridian, we ordered pizza and then went to bed.

Day 2 we spent the majority of the day at the Magic Kingdom, aside from an afternoon break for a nap.  When I was trying to get Chesney dressed in the morning, she told me that she wanted to wear a princess dress.  Somehow we had just arrived, and she had already figured out how Disney works.
The first character Chesney met was Pluto.  I was instantly in tears because she was so excited that she just walked right up to him.

We went on a few rides including Peter Pan, It's a Small World, Aladdin and a Jungle Cruise.
We met Tinker Bell and her sister, Periwinkle.  She was a little scared of Tinker Bell.

We ended the morning with a visit to Mickey.  She absolutely loved visiting Mickey.  She kept saying "Oh, there he is."

And then she found this little stuffed animal.  From here on out, Minney went with us everywhere.
After a nap, we returned for more fun at Magic Kingdom.
Chesney was so scared of Goofy that she cried.  But he covered his eyes with his ears and that cracked a smile on her face.
She wasn't nearly as scared of Donald Duck but won't go meet him on her own.
She asked if we could ride the Tea Cups next and loved it!  We had to ride in the pink one of course.

Our last meet and greet of the day was with Winnie the Pooh and Tiger too.

We ended the night by watching the Electrical Parade.  I think we all loved it, but Chesney loved the train with the Mickey characters best of all.

It's safe to say we were all worn out after day 2 at Disney!

On Day 3, we decided to take it easy.  I went to a medical conference in the morning while Chesney and Daddy went swimming at the hotel.  When I was done, we went to Blizzard Beach water park.

Chesney had fun on the water slides but we only stayed for a couple hours.

After Chesney's nap, we spent the afternoon at the hotel pool (with Minney of course).
