Crew {42 Weeks Old}

Crew is 42 weeks old.  He is only 10 weeks shy of a full year.  I don’t know how that is even possible, but I don’t like it one bit. 

Crew {2nd Tooth}

Crew got his second tooth in 2 days.  His right lower central incisor came through today.

Crew {1st Tooth}

Crew got his first tooth today, his lower left central incisor.  And it neighbor tooth is about to pop through too. I'm going to miss that gummy smile.

Crew {41 Weeks Old}

41 weeks old and getting so fast that we really have to watch to make sure doors are closed and that he doesn't get into something he shouldn't.  He loves to crawl over to the windows, pull himself up and watch outside.

Crew {40 Weeks Old}

We have hit the 40 week mark. Our little man is climbing stairs, pulling himself up on furniture and and crawling all over the place.

Brecken {5th Birthday}

We celebrated Brecken turning the big 5 today! We started the day with birthday pancakes. They were stacked 5 high for the birthday boy!

 

 

 

 

 After work and school we went to Red Robin for dinner and followed it up with birthday cake and presents. Brecken wanted a Minion cake this year.

 

 

 

 

 He didn't really ask for much for his birthday since he is still swimming in Christmas presents, but we had the perfect present in mind for him.

 

 And it did not disappoint!

 He also had some presents from his grandparents to open.

 

 

 

 

I think he had a fun day!

• What I love about you:  You have a lot of wild energy, but you can be so sweet at times too.  You have really started to love school.

Crew {Climbing Stairs}

Crew put his knees up on the first step last night. Tonight he climbed nearly half the stairs while the rest of us were eating birthday cake. I guess he has that figured out now.

 

 

Brecken {Last Day of 4}

Somehow our first little boy is about to be a whole handful old.  He is feisty and energetic and strong willed, but he is also loving with a very tender heart.  We have been blessed to have you lead our boy pack.  Happy last day of 4 Brecken!

Crew is 9 months old.

• Weight: 17 lbs 11 oz (17th percentile) 
• Length: 28.3 inches(48th percentile)
• Clothes: You are wearing size 6-9 month clothes and 9 month sleepers.
• Shoes: You wear size 3-6 month shoes
• Diapers: You developed a rash in the your diaper area, arm pits and behind the ears this month so we had to change over to paper diapers to see if we could get it under control. We stopped giving him all gluten and the rashes improved. Between us and the pediatrician we determine you have seborrheic dermatitis and a possible gluten intolerance.  We now have to keep you moisturized and away from certain scents and lotions to avoid rashes.  And we avoid any gluten foods.
• Food: Mommy milk and water. Feeding has been a little more challenging since you can't have gluten.  But you love meats, fruits and some veggies. You love sloppy joes and fish, pears, apples, bananas and green pepper.
• Development: You pulled yourself to standing on December 27, 2017. You are a quick crawler. You started waving on January 3, 2018.
• Sleep:  You still get up about once at night for a quick snack and then go back to sleep. You usually take a good morning or afternoon nap with a shorter nap at the opposite time of day.
• What I love about you: You are having so much fun playing with the toys now that you can move between toys.  You are a smiling, giggling, happy boy.

Crew {39 Weeks Old}

Crew is 39 weeks old.  He's getting so quick that I'm having a  hard time getting pictures of him before he rolls away.

Crew {Waving}

Crew is waving now and it is the cutest little wave because it always comes with a big smile.  And it almost sounds like he is saying "hi" sometimes when he waves.

Crew {38 Weeks Old}

38 weeks old and crawling all over the place.  Crew can now pull himself up on the stairs but hasn't figured out how to climb them just yet.

Cottage Trip and Dahl Christmas

We spent the last week of the year at the cottage with the Dahl family.
