Family Photos {Fall 2016}

We had family photos taken in late August, and we love how they turned out.

Thanksgiving Feast

Chesney's school hosts an amazing Thanksgiving feast every year.  It is one of our favorite things to attend and this year was no different.
How can we not love it when we get to visit this cutie pie mid day?!?

The food was excellent but the company was even better.

Disney Vacation

We recently wrapped up our yearly trip to Disney which once again did not disappoint.

The kids got big Micky Mouse gloves for the characters to sign.

We went to the Beauty and the Beast ride which is a performance. Chesney was chosen to be the beast, Daddy to be a guard and Brecken to be Chip (who happens to be his favorite character in that story).

There were lots of characters to meet and autographs to get.
The magic carpet ride was a big hit with Mackston.

Daddy and Chesney did splash mountain.

Chesney rode Cinderella's pony on the carousel.

Brecken was happy to have an endless supply of popcorn.

The hotel had a campfire with smores a few nights while we were there.  The kid's ate more than enough marshmallows.
 Teacups with Daddy.
Wednesday we went to Hollywood Studios for breakfast with some characters. Mackston was very curious about the characters (as you will notice, he is staring at them in every picture).

After breakfast we met Mickey and Minnie and went on a ride.

And then these two cuties were chosen to be the VIPs for the Disney Jr show.  We were walking up to get in line and a guy working at this area asked if they knew the magic words to get Mickey to appear.  Chesney said "meeska mooska mickey mouse".  And the worker then asked if they wanted to open the doors to the show.
The kids got to knock on the door which then opened for the show.  And we got front and center seats.  They also got a special certificate for this special opportunity.

We took a boat ride to Epcot where the kid's tried on some silly hats.  Then we went on a couple rides.

Sand art back at the hotel was a hit with the kids.

 This view never gets old!
Daddy and Uncle Jon got the high score on Toy Story. Galactic Hero!
At Epcot, on Thursday, we met some more characters.

Mackston loved Minnie and gave her a few kisses on her nose.

And that was the day we got to go on the new Frozen ride too.  It was pretty amazing!
Back at the Magic Kingdom on Friday we took in lots of rides. Daddy and Chesney were cruising on the go carts.
 We met Merida.
And we met Buzz.  Brecken was pretty excited about meeting Buzz.

A lot of muscles but these two couldn't get the sword out of the stone.

On our way out of the Magic Kingdom on Friday, there was a dance party in the street.  We danced with Woody.

That night we watched a movie on the lawn at the hotel.

A new day and more characters to meet.

One giant cinnamon roll for breakfast.
The Evil Stepsisters were a fun duo to meet.

The kids loved the aquarium at Epcot.

Sunday we went to a hidden gem at Disney and had a treat called The Kitchen Sink.  This ice cream treat is HUGE.  And we were so excited to eat it.

Someone really enjoyed it.

We did spend lots of time relaxing at the hotel too.  The sand and pools were a big hit.

Cinderella and Prince Charming dance at the hotel lobby several times a week.  Chesney was excited to dance along.

Beat the early morning rush one day and Chesney and Daddy had the Goofy roller coaster to themselves.
Chesney was most excited that they got to ride it twice around without having to get off.

We found a little play area near Splash Mountain to keep busy while Chesney and Daddy were on the ride for the second time.

The little lady got a bit wet on the ride but wanted to strike a pose.
So did this guy with the silly face.
Then it was time to pack it up to head home.
We had 3 tired out kids but one that couldn't make it back to the airport before catching a nap.

So many memories and so much fun as always.
