Our little guy is a drooling storm and loves to chew on his hands and toys.  Sitting in his high chair and playing with his toys are his favorites.

Mackston {5 Months Old}

Mackston had a pretty fun month and is now 5 months old!
Here is what you have been up to this month:
Visiting with Grampy.
Snuggling with Chesney.
Getting ready for Halloween.

 Playing with your toys.
Moving into your new room and bed.

Lots of Disney fun!

Your 5 month stats:
  • Weight:  15lb
  • Length: 26.5 inches

  • Clothes: You are wearing 3-6 month clothes.
  • Shoes: We have not put shoes on you yet.
  • Diapers: You wear cloth diapers day and night.  You don't like it when your diaper is wet though and will sometimes fuss if it is.
  • Food: Just mommy milk.
  • Development: You love to grab and shake your toys. Your favorite time is when you sit in your high chair and play with your spinning toy. You have been chewing on your Sophie giraffe a lot lately.
  • Words: None
  • Sleep:  You go to bed around 8pm and sleep until I wake you up to take Chesney to school.  You sometimes get up once in the night and other times sleep through the night.  You usually take a 1 hour morning nap and just cat naps in the afternoon.
  • What I love about you: You are such a easy going little guy. You don't fuss much and if you do, you either are hungry, tired or have a wet diaper.
Happy 5 months Mackston! We love you like crazy!

Disney {Part 2}

Day 4
Day 4 we went to Epcot as the park opened early.
I took a few pictures with Brecken while Daddy and Chesney went on Soaring, and then we swapped and I went with Chesney on the ride.

Next we hit up the character spot to meet Mickey, Goofy and Minnie.

Brecken was loving all the characters this year.  He really got into hugging them.

And then we rode the Nemo ride and checked out the fish at the aquarium.

We finished our time at Epcot but going on the test track ride. We were all hungry after our morning at Epcot so we headed to Downtown Disney to eat lunch, visit the Lego store and to go to the giant Disney store.
The kids each picked out a few things ,and then we went back to the hotel to relax.
We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening down at the pool.
Day 5
We had a very fun filled and busy day planned for Wednesday.  We had a breakfast at Hollywood and Vine restaurant at Hollywood Studios booked.
The breakfast so interactive and fun for the kids and adults.  There was lots of singing and dancing.
And of course there were lots of characters too.
Brecken was beyond thrilled to meet Jake.  He ran to give him a hug the second he came to our table.

After the breakfast we went to have some fun at the park.  First we went to the Disney Jr. stage show.  We go to this every year and the kids still love it.

Spent time at the Toy Story ride, the Little Mermaid and the Frozen sing-along.  Chesney sang her heart out to every song at the Frozen sing-along.

We took the bus back to the hotel and found Chesney's toys arrange like this...
 She loved it!
Nap time and then snuggle with Daddy.
That evening I went to the electrical parade with Chesney and Mackston while Daddy stayed at the hotel with Brecken.
Chesney picked out a sweet treat.
Mackston was all smiles before the parade started.  And he was zonked out by the time the parade was over.
Day 6
Thursday we were back at the Magic Kingdom for more fun.  We were able to go on a few more rides and meet some princesses.
We had the whole family on the carousel.

Brecken and Chesney were so excited to meet Anna and Elsa.
Brecken was telling Elsa that he likes to pretend to chop ice. Elsa told Brecken that she would be excited to have him come chop ice in Arendelle when he is older.

After a few rides and some princess hugs we went to the Be Our Guest restaurant for lunch.  We absolutely love the food here and were so excited to get a chance to eat there this year. The restaurant has 3 different rooms to eat in.  All the rooms are based on rooms from the Beauty and the Beast movie.  This year we ate in the grand ballroom.

After lunch we stayed at the park for the Festival of Fantasy parade.  The kids loved the parade.

Mackston even got some love from the parade dancers.
Thursday evening, Chesney and I had a little sweets party complete with ice cream and cupcakes while Daddy went to the parks and Brecken and Mackston slept. Precious girl was so tired that she went right to sleep after her ice cream treat.
Day 7
On the last day we had to leave the hotel in the morning.
Brecken had some breakfast and then he and Chesney played in the room while we packed up.
We took a quick bus ride to the airport and we were on our way back to the cold.

The plane ride home was uneventful (thank goodness).

Our family sure has changed since our first trip to Disney 3 years ago.
We always have such a great time at Disney and this year was no exception!
