Winter

Winter has been full with hockey, dance and all kinds of fun.
Brecken's 1st grade state project.
Mackston is doing hockey and loves it.

Daddy and Lonnie run the music and clock for Brecken's games.

Chesney spends a lot of hours with these girls every week.
Brecken's last practice was a family skate.  We all had fun joining him on the ice. And Crew was so mad when we had to leave.

Snuggles with Crew while he naps and I get some work done. These moments are rare, so I have to soak them in.

Chesney's Dance Showcase

Chesney had a dance showcase today where she was able to perform all of her competition dances as well as their production dance. It was so great to see the dances in full and that girl rocked it!

Chesney - Bellamoxi Competition and Convention

Chesney participated in a convention over the weekend where she and her small group performed one of their competition dances.
The girls started the weekend by performing the dance which scored a platium. This is the highest award. We had to wait until the end of the weekend to find out how they placed overall though.

 A little after dance snack.

I had so much fun hanging out with my little girl!

Awards ceremony was a blast as the girl's dance took 2nd overall!

And even more exciting, Chesney won a half scholarship. She was not expecting this and was so excited.

The Sports Life

We have mainly been living at a dance studio or hockey rink for months, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
Mackston started hockey in January.  We knew he would ask to play at some point and early January was that time.  So we signed him up for intro to hockey which started mid January.
He only skates once a week, but Brecken skates 3-4 times each week. The last weekend of January he had a home tournament. He had a lot of fun and took 3rd place overall (1st for Janesville) in the skills challenge.

And dance has officially hit the busy season.  We are away most weekends at competitions or conventions.

They had their first optional competition last weekend and took 1st place overall for Jump Around.

These girls brought home the hardware!
These kiddos are busy, but we so enjoy watching them do what they love.
