Mackston {2 Months Old}

Mackston, you have been such a blessing to this family sweet boy!  You make every single one of us so happy every single day.  Your brother and sister run to say hi to you in the morning and are worried when they don't know where you are.

You have had a busy month:

Started smiling (July 3, 2015).

Went on a hike.

Celebrated the 4th of July.

Took your first vacation to the cottage.

Snuggled with Daddy.

Watched your toys.
 Played with Chesney and Brecken.
 Hung out with Grandma.
 Went to a waterski show.
 Went to the park.
And celebrated your baptism (July 25, 2015).

Your 2 month stats:
  • Weight: 11 pounds 4 oz (24%)
  • Length: 23.5 inches (72%)
  • Clothes: You are wearing 0-3 month clothes.
  • Shoes: We have not put shoes on you yet.
  • Diapers: You wear cloth diapers during the day with a size 1 pampers at night.
  • Food: Just mommy milk
  • Development: Your neck is becoming very strong.  You love to coo, smile and giggle. You started cooing on July 17 and giggling on July 30.  You like to follow people with your eyes.  You have found your hands and you love to watch the toys in the swing and bouncer.
  • Words: None
  • Sleep:  You are sleeping through the night (July 30, 2015). You sleep for 8-9 hour stretches at night followed by a 1-2 hour stretch after eating. You tend to cat nap all day. You still sleep in our room.
  • What I love about you: You are all smiles and love to "talk" to us by cooing.  We can't get enough of your sweet little face.  We have been blessed to have you baby boy.
Happy 2 months Mackston.  We love you!

Mackston's Baptism

Mackston was baptized on July 25, 2015.  This day is very special as it is Great Grandpa Naatz birthday.  Great Grandpa would have been 99 years old this year.  So instead of a birthday party, this year we had a baptism celebration.
Mackston wore his Daddy's baptism outfit (just like Brecken did).

After mass Mackston was baptized at the back of the church.

Thank you Father Donn for baptizing our precious boy.
And special thanks to Uncle Cory and Aunt Kim for being Mackston's Godparents.

 Our sweet child of God.
And be sure of this: I am with you always. -Matthew 28:20

Summer Vacay Week 8

Week 8 started out with a low but ended on a high.  Chesney ran into a wall on Monday, cracking her head open.  She was such a trooper though and has been healing well since that time.
Luckily she had spent the weekend swimming because she wasn't able to go in the pool for a while after her injury.
Brecken got new floaties and loved exploring the pool on his own.
We had a poolside pizza party!

And we got some new pool toys.

We spent most night of the week unloading and spreading new rock in front of our house.
Brecken was beyond excited to help.  He had a perma-smile the entire time.
I love the picture below of Brecken and Daddy hard at work.

Chesney helped out even with her fresh wound.

We hit the park one day.

We missed Daddy while he was at work, but we had lots of fun!

And the Kona Ice truck came by while we were spreading rocks one night.
This little lady is such a good helper with Mackston.
Brecken loaded his train car up with cereal one morning.
We had lots of work to do for the weekend to get ready for Mackston's baptism.  The kids helped make the cake.

Aunt Kate came Friday, and the kids all piled in a Power Wheels.
Kate took baby Coy for a ride.
Saturday we had a pool party before and after the baptism.

And we celebrated Mackston's baptism.  More on that in another post.
