 Going to the park.
 Floating in the pool.
Having picnics with his favorite brother and sister.
Climbing.
 Shopping.
Celebrating his 1st birthday.
Swimming and celebrating Father's Day with the world's best Daddy.
Painting
 Going to the dairy breakfast.

Your 13 month stats:
  • Weight:  23 pounds
  • Length: 31.75 inches(96 percentile)
  • Clothes: You are wearing 12-18 month clothes and 18 month pjs.
  • Shoes: You wear size 4-5 shoes
  • Diapers: You wear cloth diapers day and night.
  • Food: Mommy milk, water.  You eat anything and everything but love meat, pancakes, carrots and fruits.
  • Development: You have started talking so much this month.  You try to imitate the sounds we make and have a whole new vocabulary. You walk, run and climb until we put you to bed.
  • Words: Dada, Mama, hot, hat, moo, hello
  • Teeth: You have 9 teeth. Your right lower lateral incisor came through on June 18 and left lower first molar on June 29. Unfortunately you love to bite Mommy's shoulder when your teeth are coming through.
  • Sleep:  You go to bed around 8 pm and sleep until I wake you up to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  On the days I'm off, you sleep until 8:30 or 9.  You usually take one 2 hour nap daily in the afternoon.
  • What I love about you: You have the best toothy grin. You love to smile and giggle. You prefer to be outside playing. Your favorite thing to do is drive.  You love to sit in your Cozy Coupe car and pretend to drive.
Happy 13 months Mackston.  We love you so much!

Mackston's 1st Birthday Party

Mackston turned one at the end of May but we held off with his party so that we could have an outdoor pool party.  The weather was perfect and there was lots of giggles and squeals from the kids. I think they had a good time.

Family arrived into town late Friday night, and we started Saturday with a trip to a local festival called Freedom Fest.

The kids had a blast on the rides.
And then cooled off with Kona Ice drinks.

We came back home for some naps and then it was party time. Mackston's birthday theme was Rookie of the Year (baseball).

I put Mackston's hand print on a baseball when he was born because I knew his first birthday theme would be baseball. It's pretty amazing how much that little hand has grown in the past year.

We had drinks for all ages and classic ballpark food.

 Sweet little birthday boy.
He wasn't too sure about the birthday cake at first.  Then he grabbed some and put it in his mouth.

And then he decided he was done with it.
So into the pool he went for clean up.
And of course there was a lot of swimming and outside fun.

Followed by some gift opening.

We ended the night watching fireworks (which were set off at Freedom Fest but are easily viable from our driveway).  His first birthday party was a blast.  Happy 1st birthday little man. We love you so much!!
