Chesney's Birthday Party

Chesney has had multiple birthday parties due to a few cousins being sick.  But she is more than happy to have had 3 parties now. Princesses can't have too many parties you know.

The menu consisted of Anna's Chili, Hans Hors d'oeuvres (cheese & snowflake crackers), Sven's Fruity (strawberries), Kristoff's Ice Cubes (blue Jello Jigglers) and Ella's Snow Cap Punch).

The kids burned a little energy after lunch by having a parade through the house.

Then it was time for presents.  Emma helped with the opening.  We had to take a short break because Chesney wanted to read all the books Jon, Tanya and Emma got for her.

Meanwhile, Brecken attacked Grandpa while he took pictures.
Chesney's last gift was an Elsa dress.  Now she has both the Anna and Elsa dresses.  It will be a tough choice on which dress to wear each day.

Thanks for coming down Jon, Tanya and Emma.

And we finished off with some cake.

As a special treat, we had Frozen cookies made by a local lady.  They turned out amazing and tasted even better.

I think our little girl had a great birthday party times 3.  Maybe next year we can get away with one party.  Happy 4th birthday Chesney!

Chesney {4 Years Old}

Our baby girl is 4! And she is pretty excited about it!
We spent the entire weekend celebrating her and will have her birthday party next weekend.  Grammy and Grampy came down to celebrate this weekend and Grandma and Grandpa came over Saturday to celebrate too.  We went to Red Robin for lunch where Chesney got a birthday sundae.

We came back for her to open a couple presents from Grandma and Grandpa.  A frozen magnetic dress up set and Rapunzel night gown.  She was loving it!
We spent the rest of the day just playing at home, outside and at the park before having a pizza party and watching Frozen.
Then we sang to the birthday girl and had cake.

Chesney had to change twice during the Frozen movie.  Grampy somehow ended up with the Elsa hair.
And that ended her last day of being 3!
Today she woke up a 4 year old.  A 4 year old ready to open some gifts!  We did her hair in her favorite style "party tails".

Every princess needs more dresses.  So we got her the Anna dress from Frozen.

And she may wear this dress daily for the next 365 days.
She then finished opening the rest of the gifts including some from Grammy and Grampy.

She got some roller blades and a Tangled Lego set.
We were finally ready for breakfast.  And of course she needed candles on her breakfast toast.
And no birthday is complete without some balloons.
After breakfast we tried out the roller blades.  These are going to take some time to get the hang of.

Some one was watching for Chesney to take those skates off.  And it took him no time to try to put them on.
We had cake again for dessert after dinner and sang "Happy Birthday" one last time.
Thanks for coming to celebrate with Chesney, Grammy and Grampy.
