Catholic Schools Week 2020

This week was Catholic Schools Week which means dress up days and lots of fun.

Monday was pajama day with a movie in the gym.
Tuesday was twinning Tuesday.  Each of the kids dress up like their buddy at school.  (At the kid's school, every little child is paired up with a big buddy.)  On twinning Tuesday, they played games with their buddy in a team.
Chesney demonstrating the cookie face game.

Wednesday was community hero day.  All the children from the school brought in snacks to make giant baskets to take to the local fire departments, hospitals and police station.  In the afternoon they all went bowling.

I was lucky enough to chaperone with the 4K class. I was so happy to be on a field trip with all 3 of my school age kids.

I'm the luckiest mom in the world!

 Thursday was throwback Thursday.

This is my favorite picture and will always be special.  Mackston and his buddy entering church.

The first grade class led mass. The Bishop joined for mass and then went to every classroom to meet the children.  Mackston was so excited that he got to take a picture with the guy he called "the Shepard".
And finally Friday was school spirit day.

This is a week that the children always look forward to.  Lots of fun memories made and a good break from the hustle of school.
