We just got back from another amazing family vacation to Disney. We always have a blast when we go and the time always goes way too fast.
We left on Saturday morning so we spent a lot of time getting things ready on Thursday. Mackston tried out the carrier since I was planning to use it a lot at Disney.
And we got hair cuts (well everyone except little baldy).
The boys chilled while I got my hair colored and cut. And then Brecken got his cut. And we were officially ready.
Day 1
Saturday morning we left bright and early at 4:45 am. Chesney was a little excited and woke up at 2:30. I really wouldn't
expect anything different from her though. As we pulled out of the
driveway, Chesney and I yelled in unison "Disney, here we come!" I
can't tell you how exciting it is to have a 5 year olds excitement
during this trip! The kids were so excited to see the stars in the sky on the way to the airport.
Brecken was thrilled to watch the airplanes at the "airplane port" as he calls it.
Ready for take off. This year we went with Grandma and Grandpa and met up with Uncle Jon, Aunt Tanya and cousins Emma and Karsyn.
Brecken was pretty excited about being on a plane. He kept telling us he was going to sit in the driver's seat because he was going to fly the plane.
Mackston liked the plane too.
And Chesney sat by Grandma and watched movies.
We met up with Jon and Tanya at the Orlando airport and then took a bus to the hotel.
When we finally got to our room, we had 3 very tired kiddos. This is called the trifecta of naps. All three kiddos were zonked.
After naps, we attempted to go to the Magic Kingdom to watch the electrical parade and fireworks. Brecken was too tired so he, Mackston and I went back to eat and go to bed while Chesney and Daddy stayed for the parade and fireworks.
Day 2
On the second day, everyone woke up recharged and ready for fun!
Sunday we went back to Magic Kingdom. The first ride we did was Small World. The kids loved the loud music and bright colors.
Then we went to the playground at the Dumbo ride. This is such a fun playground (with air conditioning).
And then we did the Dumbo ride.
Brecken liked running the controls.
We ended the morning with a train ride half-way around the park.
And took a boat back to the hotel. So we basically hit every form of transportation in 2 days (car, plane, bus, train, monorail and boat). We didn't get a motorcycle but it would be difficult to fit our entire clan on one.
We went back to the hotel for Brecken to nap and to spend some time pool side.
After naps we went back to the Magic Kingdom. This cool dude was well rested.
A little Winnie the Pooh fun!
Seven Dwarfs Train ride was a blast!
We had a tired group that night, but the fun was just beginning.
Day 3
On the third day we went back to the Magic Kingdom.
We went to the Belle "ride" first where Chesney, Emma and Grandpa were picked to be part of the show.
Chesney was Mrs. Potts.
Grandpa was one of the guards.
A little Dumbo fun!
And then we went on the Goofy roller coaster.
Chesney rode with Tanya.
We finished our morning at the park by meeting Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse and Goofy.
As we were walking out, the Move it, Shake it! parade was going on.
We went back to the hotel for lunch. I stayed with the boys for nap while Chesney and Daddy went back to the park. She was so excited to meet Merida. There was a little area for the kids to color while they waited for their turn to meet the princess.
Then they went to the Festival of Fantasy parade.
When Brecken woke up we went back to the park for a little more fun.
Brecken rode on the race cars with Daddy, and Chesney went with Grandma.
Then Chesney, Daddy and I went on splash mountain while Grandma and Grandpa took the boys to Bear Country Jamboree. Somehow I was conned into riding in the seat that got the most wet, such a beginner move.
That's all for day 3. I'll post the rest of the trip pictures soon!
