Crew {3 Months Old}

Somehow our baby is 3 months old.
Here is what you have been up to this month:

Strawberry picking.

Being carried by your sister.
Lots of smiling.
Big brother snuggles.

Your first train ride and first trip to Chicago.

Your 3 month stats:

  • Weight:  11lb 8oz
  • Length: 24.5 inches
  • Clothes: You are wearing 0-3 month clothes and sleepers but it's time to move up  size in sleepers.
  • Shoes: We have not put shoes on you yet.
  • Diapers: You wear cloth diapers day and night.
  • Food: Just mommy milk.
  • Development: You smile a lot and when you do your whole body wiggles with joy.  You still love to respond with cooing. You have started to push with your feet to move backwards or turn in a circle.
  • Sleep:  You wake up once at night, usually around 3 or 4 am and then sleep until 5:30 or 6 am.  You nap on and off throughout the day. You sleep best on your tummy.
  • What I love about you: You love to be held and it's ok by me because you are already growing too fast.  You are such a smiley little peanut. Our hearts are so full.

Crew {13 Weeks Old}

13 weeks and he is getting the hang of this bottle thing at Grandpa and Grandma's house.  I sure miss him during the work day though!

Crew {12 Weeks Old}

Our little Crew is 12 weeks old.  It's almost time to return to work, and I can hardly handle it.  I know this little sweetie will be fine with Grandpa and Grandma but I'll sure miss his sweet face.
Happy 12 weeks Crew!

Freedom Fest

A local church hosts an amazing 4th of July event every year, typically on the weekend before the 4th.
Mackston helped with the party prep, mainly in the form of sampling the snacks.

 The festival was fun as always.  The kids loved going on the rides.  And after the fun at the carnival, we headed back to our house to swim and have lunch.

The kids swam the entire afternoon and into the evening.  They stopped in time for some dinner and to get ready to watch the fireworks.
