Brecken - 15 Weeks Old

New week, new milestone (boo to this one). My little man has his first cold, and I'm so sad.  There is nothing worse than seeing your little loves sick.  I'm hoping this passes quickly, but in the meantime, he's getting lots of snuggles and kisses!

He has been pretty happy for not feeling well and hardly fusses.  He did wake up a couple times last night to eat (so not his usual). But he went back to sleep after a little snack.

 

  Big sis wanted in on the picture action today.  She decided she was wearing her bee costume from Halloween.  She's got the same cold as Brecken, and I'm hoping she's almost done with it.

 

 Chesney loves her little brother so much!

 

 Happy 15 weeks little bug.  May next week be a healthier one.

Weekend Swing Set Build

This past weekend, Chuck, his dad and his brother Jeremy built a swing set at grandma and grandpa's house.  It was a full days work, but the grand-kids loved it!

 Brecken finally got to spend a little time outside (out of his carseat).

 Chesney got tired by late afternoon and passed out in the tent (in the grass next to the swing set in progress).

 The final product at the end of the day.  There was still a little more for Grandpa to finish but this was usable for the kids.  I think the kids are going to love the addition to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Chesney finally got the chance to give Brecken a bottle at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

 She seems to be a good helper.

Go Fly a Kite

Monday's weather was fairly warm and very windy, so after work, we went outside to fly a kite.  Luckily, we have no power lines close to our house, so Chesney could fly her kite in the yard.  It only landed on the roof 5,620 times.

 

 

 I forgot how fun it is to fly a kite.   We might have to do this more often.

 

Brecken - 14 Weeks Old

Wow, this past week flew by.  Brecken has been such a trooper tagging along to sister's busy schedule now.  He is her cheerleader at dance and loves to watch her play at St. John Vianney during ABC preschool.

Brecken - 13 Weeks Old

Two milestone posts in two days, wow.  13 weeks of bliss, love and kisses.

 He is so serious in many of his pictures but loves to smile when I put the camera away.

Brecken - 3 Months Old

My little man is a quarter of a year old already!  Such a busy month becoming more mobile.  Here's a peek at what you have been up to all month.

Celebrated your first St. Patty's Day.

Rolled from your tummy to your back (March 19, 2013).

 Celebrated your sister's 3rd birthday.

Moved to your crib (March 25, 2013).

 Took lots of walks.

 Celebrated your first Easter.

Went to Grammy and Grampy's house for the first time (March 29, 2013).

And stole even more of your sister's heart.

• Weight: 12 pounds 
• Length: 25 inches 

• Clothes: You are wearing a few 0-3 month clothes but mostly 3-6 month clothes.

• Shoes: We have not put shoes on you yet.

• Diapers: Pampers Size 1 and cloth diapers when we are home.

• Food: Just mommy milk

• Development: You rolled from your front to back on March 19, 2013.  You have recently been rolling on your side and love to push your feet against the floor to turn.

• Words: None

• Sleep:  You sleep from 8 or 8:30 pm to between 7 and 8am. Napping for a couple hours in the morning and a nap or two in the afternoon and usually a cat nap after dinner too.

• What I love about you: You are such a happy and easy going baby.  You tend to go with the flow and rarely fuss much.  Your eyes light up when you see us, and we love it!
