Hockey Time

 November was the start of hockey games. Like everything, hockey was different this year. For practice, one parent can take their child in, help them put on skates and then had to leave the rink.  They came back at the end of practice to help remove skates and leave.  Games were live on YouTube at first with no spectators but after a few weeks, 2 spectators per family were allowed. Thankfully, Daddy has coached both Brecken and Mackston's teams which means a big commitment but also that the boy's always have a parent with them.

I'm so glad that hockey is back. I just love watching these boys on the ice.

Remi and Dash

On July 11 we picked up two new little kitties for our family. The kids had no idea we were getting the kitties which made the surprise even more fun.  They opened their July Gifts of Togetherness card from Christmas that said "Grab a blanket and jump in the car. We are headed for fun!"

The entire way they guessed we were headed to the cottage. But when we made a stop and came back to the car with these 2 sweeties, they were so excited!

Last Day of School 2020

We finished out the school year virtually, but we still did some end of the year photos.

Chesney finished 4th grade.

 

Brecken finished 1st grade.

 

 

Mackston finished pre-K.

 

Brecken's 7th Birthday

Our little guy turned 7 today.

 Our traditional birthday pancakes for breakfast.

He got this sweet lunch box in the mail from Grampy and Grammy.

 

 Brecken really likes to play the game Fortnite, so I surprised him and made a Fortnite cake.  When he came home from hockey practice he was pretty excited to see this cake.

 

 

 

 

 

 Grandpa and Grandma joined us for some cake, ice cream and gifts.

Happy 7th birthday Brecken! We love you so much!!

Hockey Weekend

This weekend was packed with lots of hockey action.

 Brecken had a tournament in Stoughton bright and early on Saturday. And then we were back in Stoughton Sunday afternoon for a game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Brecken's game got over just in time for use to catch cousin Ryan's hockey team take first place at a tournament.
