The 2019-2020 school year was cut short this year due to the Covid pandemic. The kids were sent home in mid March with initial plans to be home only for a few weeks. Unfortunately, the Safer at Home restrictions had to be continued due to persistent Covid cases. This led to virtual schooling for the remainder of the year. Thankfully, the teachers were wonderful and found amazing ways to keep the kids focused with the same rigor. It was certainly difficult to continue to keep the kids on track with school while working, but it did go quickly.
Life lessons with mom and dad, changing a ceiling fan and making scrambled eggs.
Sometimes snack turns into finding and making letters.
Making polygons with marshmallows and toothpicks. They at a lot of the materials.
Brecken's teacher ended the year with a fun task. She made herself into Flat Mrs. Griinke and then the kids had to get creative and do lots of fun things with her. Brecken had a lot of fun with this.
