Oh my, this has been a quick 8 months. I try to take in every moment with you but they seem to pass so quickly.
You have been so busy this month:
Went to the Milwaukee Zoo (August 15).
You learned to climb the stairs (August 27).
And pulled yourself to a stand (August 27)
Went swimming for the first time.
Had your first and hopefully only surgery (August 30).
Helped decorate for fall.
Cuddled with your big sister.
Watched your first Green Bay Packers game.
- Weight: 15 pounds 4 ounces
- Length: 28 inches
- Clothes: You are wearing 3-6 month clothes. You just started wearing 6-9 month sleepers. Looking forward to moving up to 6-9 month clothes with the cooler weather moving in.
- Shoes: I made you your first pair of shoes which you wear from time to time.
- Diapers: Pampers Size 2 and cloth diapers when we are home.
- Food: You love to eat. This month I started making your oatmeal which you like to eat with a fruit or vegetable mixed in. You also started chicken and applesauce this month. Mommy still makes all your food. You drink mommy milk and water.
- Development: You pull yourself to a stand on anything and everything. You started to climb the stairs. You can wave and have started giving kisses.
- Words: None. You do love to squeal (super loud). It is the way you communicate with Chesney (and I'm pretty sure dogs could pick up this sound too).
- Teeth: Two new teeth this month. Both lower central incisors, left on September 10 and right on September 14.
- Sleep: After surgery, we did a little sleep training, and you are back to sleeping through the night, usually 8 pm until 6-7 am You take a morning and afternoon nap, about 1.5-2 hours each and sometimes a cat nap before dinner.
- What I love about you: You are such a happy little guy. Nothing makes you happier than your family. You light up when you see us, and we eat it up! You are starting to play with Chesney. You will chase her and try to find her when she plays hide and seek.
Those blue eyes just kill me!
Happy 8 months happy man. We love you so, so, so much!
Great pictures! Love his baby blues! LOVE that baseball shirt too!
