My baby boy is half a year old. For some reason, that is hard to swallow. But it has been an amazing 6 months.
Nothing compares to having little ones to love on. Especially when they are this cute.
Here's a glimpse at what Brecken has been up to:
Hanging out by the pool.
Watching big sister play at the park.
Helping Daddy celebrate Father's Day.
Learning to crawl.
Taking his first trip to the cottage.
Meeting Great Grandma Dahl.
Hanging out with cousins.
- Weight: 14 pounds 8 ounces (4th percentile)
- Length: 27 inches (57th percentile)
- Clothes: You are wearing 3-6 month clothes.
- Shoes: We have not put shoes on you yet.
- Diapers: Pampers Size 2 and cloth diapers when we are home.
- Food: Just mommy milk
- Development: You are getting up on your knees and rocking back and forth. You do a caterpillar like crawl where you get on your hands and knees and then fall forward. It works for you because you are able to get to any toy you would like.
- Words: None
- Teeth: None
- Sleep: Your sleeping has went a little off course since our vacation last week. Typically you sleep from 8:30 pm to 6:00 or 7am. Over the past week, you have been getting up at 4ish for a snack. Napping for a couple hours in the morning and a nap or two in the afternoon and usually a cat nap around dinner too.
- What I love about you: You are such a happy little guy. Nothing seems to bother you and if something does, it doesn't bother you for long. If you are ever unhappy, you break a smile instantly when Chesney shows up. I love snuggling with you and giving you lots of hugs and kisses. My favorite thing right now is how you get so excited when I pick you up from Grandma and Grandpa's house. You bounce and squeal with excitement.
We might have the happiest baby ever! I'm so looking forward to more of these smiles.
Happy 6 months to my sweet baby boy! Love, love, love you sweetie!
