Brecken - 2 Months Old

Brecken, how did 2 months just fly by?!?  You have such a sparkle in your eyes and make everyone smile.  This is what you have been up to over the past month:

 Lots of smiling and cooing!

 Playing hide and seek with big sister.

 Having talks with Daddy.

 

 Lots of naps in the swing. And longer night sleeping.  You started sleeping through the night (February 27, 2013).

 

 Helping Daddy celebrate his 31st birthday.

 Meeting Great Grandpa.

Talking with the toys on your gym.

Spending lots of snuggle time with Chesney.

• Weight: 11.3 pounds (24.6%)
• Length: 24.75 inches (100%)

• Clothes: You are wearing 0-3 month clothes.  Some are starting to seem short (see above for the reason why!)

• Shoes: We have not put shoes on you yet.

• Diapers: Pampers Size 1 and cloth diapers when we can

• Food: Just mommy milk

• Development: You are holding your head up on your own (for the most part) when we carry you and can lift it very well when on your tummy.  You love to coo (February 21, 2013) and smile and can recognize Mommy, Daddy and Chesney's faces and voices.

• Words: None

• Sleep:  You are sleeping through the night (February 27, 2013)! You sleep for 8-10.5 hour stretches at night followed by a 2-3 hour stretch after eating. Napping for a couple hours in the morning and most of the afternoon. You still sleep in our room. 

• What I love about you: I still love to snuggle you in the afternoon.  My favorite thing is how you smile up at me after eating. You are an amazing little boy, and we are so blessed!

 This is how he was about one hour after shots today.  I just can't get over how happy this little man is.
