Weekly Blogdate

This weekly update includes nearly 2 weeks of happenings in this house.
Chesney had a few yummy lunches.

Mackston got some new teethers.  He was so happy that he was double fisting it.
We had a small situation with the sleeping arrangements in this house.  Brecken decided he wanted his crib back.  So for one night we moved Brecken back to his crib and Mackston slept in the pirate ship bed (don't worry, it has sides and the Angel Care monitor was under him). They next day we decided to pull a full size bed in Brecken's room and he loved it. So Mac got his crib back and Brecken is sleeping in the full bed now.
We had two great shoppers who wanted to get and put in the cart everything we needed.
We pulled out some Christmas decorations and these silly kids decided to make a house on the boxes.
Last weekend was gorgeous weather so we spent a whole day outside trimming bushes and planting bulbs.

Mackston ended up falling asleep in the stroller.

Brecken made a turkey pumpkin at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

A new use for his digger.
Chesney's school host a Thanksgiving feast for all family members every November.  The food is always amazing and it is so much fun to see Chesney at her school.

Brecken is not a huge fan of the traditional Thanksgiving meal, so he ate a dinner role and two pumpkin bars.

I ran some errands after the feast and came home to two exhausted boys.
Later that evening we put two more trees up in our house.  Mackston was loving the view.
Chesney still loves to read.  She took a few books to bed one night and this is how we found her when we went to tuck her in before we went to bed.
Brecken was loving being Grandpa's helper.  He rolled the pumpkins off the back of the truck at the dump.

Mackston {25 Weeks Old}

Our little turkey is 25 weeks old now.
He rolled from his front to his back on November 20.  So he can now roll both ways.  Luckily he hasn't figured out that rolling can move you to different places in a room.  Happy 25 weeks buddy!

First Snowfall

Our first snowfall has arrived and the kids are thrilled.  They were so excited to get outside this evening to play for a little while. Brecken refused to remove his hat and mittens during dinner.
After dinner, we had to play inside for a little while to let the snow accumulate.  By 7 pm we had enough snow to have a little fun outside before bed.

Ellie wasn't sure what to think of the snow.

 Mackston's first snow experience.
Daddy and Brecken were hauling snow to Chesney so she could build a snow fort.
We have a long winter of snow fun ahead!

Snow Storm

We are bracing for a snow storm later today and into the evening.  We have all hands on deck, ready to shovel.
Being a mom of boys is seriously the best!

Mackston {24 Week Old}

Mackston is 24 weeks old.  This little guy is such a joy, every single day.  He brings a smile to everyone's face because he is such a happy little man.
He is still on a nap strike.  Grandma and Grandpa have found that he will only nap in the stroller.  So that's exactly where he sleeps, in the stroller which is parked in the hallway of their house. When I am home, he catches naps in the car seat when we run errands or drop off/pick up Chesney.
 Happy 24 weeks baby boy!

Weekly Blogdate

Last week was a bit of a schedule change.  Grandma and Grandpa were out of town and Daddy was in San Fransisco for work, so Grammy came down to watch the kids while I worked.  And the kids had an absolute blast.

This picture is from a few weeks ago, but I forgot to add it.  Grandpa took Brecken golfing and they got to ride in a golf cart.  Little guy thought he was a pretty big deal.
And these are a few pictures from Chesney's Halloween party at school.  I was working but Grandma and Grandpa took the boys over to watch the costume parade.  And Brecken jumped in for snack.
So Grammy arrived on Halloween, just in time for all the fun.

They kids were slightly spoiled while I was at work. While Chesney was at school, Grammy took the boys for walks and played diggers and cars.
All of the pictures above are those that Grammy sent me while I was at work, and they were having fun! And Mackston was on a nap strike for a few days.  Grammy sent this picture of Mac when he was supposed to be napping.
And within seconds I get the picture below. Someone else was done with napping too.  I think Grammy was too much fun, and they didn't want to miss out on any time with her.
On Tuesday, Chesney had Scoopie night at her school. When Grammy went to pick Chesney up, Scoopie was there waiting for the kids.  Brecken was beyond thrilled.

Chesney was so excited to work.
 Best waitress ever!!!
We ate dinner at Culvers after Chesney's shift and then took our ice cream home.

Wednesday night Grammy had to pack up and leave.  The kids were bummed because they had such a blast.  Thanks for coming to stay Grammy! We love you!

The rest of the week was Mommy time.  I've never been so thankful to work part time in my life.  In the 3 days in a row that I was away from my kiddos I felt so guilty for not seeing them.
We had pillow fights, played cars and giggled.
And it was so nice out that we got to take a walk to the park.
Daddy got back in town late Wednesday night, so we spent the next couple nights doing fun stuff.  We found a great family puzzle with all different size pieces and worked on that.
 The finished puzzle.
And we had a dance party to the country music awards.

Thanks again Grammy for coming to stay with us and for loving these 3 kiddos so much!
