Christmas Program 2017

Brecken & Chesney had their Christmas programs at school yesterday.  I was a little worried that Brecken would be nervous, but he got right up on stage and sang his songs.  And Chesney had a solo in the program which was perfect.

Crew {36 Weeks Old}

Our little Crew is 36 weeks old. He's starting to get quicker with crawling and enjoys playing with his toys on the floor now.

Crew {35 Weeks Old}

Our little man is 35 weeks old. We are having lots of fun getting ready for Christmas with this little guy.

Crew {8 Months Old}

Our little guy is 8 months old already!

Here is what you have been up to over the past month...

 

  Your first airplane ride.

Your 8 month stats:

• Weight:  about 17 lbs 
• Length: 27 inches 
• Clothes: You are wearing size 6-9 month clothes for the most part and 9 month sleepers.
• Shoes: You wear size 3-6 month shoes
• Diapers: You wear cloth diapers day and night. 
• Food: Just mommy milk.  You have tried a few new foods including chicken, bananas and avocado.
• Development: You can officially crawl (November 28, 2017). 
• Sleep:  You still get up 1-3 times at night for a quick snack and then go back to sleep. You usually take a good morning or afternoon nap with a shorter nap at the opposite time of day.
• What I love about you: You are starting to get around more which makes you so happy.  You are a very easy going baby.

Christmas-time is HERE

We are so excited for the Christmas season. It is certainly our favorite time of the year.

 Warm days help when you need to finish decorating outside.  And little helpers are the best!

 Advent calendars make each day exciting.  So does their elf, Jolly.  But Chesney had to write a letter to Jolly because he forgot to move 2 out of the first 4 days he was here. Luckily he got his act together since then.

 

 We made homemade gingerbread (which smelled amazing in the house) and then gingerbread houses.

 Some of the kids were really into making the houses and one kid was really into eating the supplies.

 

 

 

 So proud of their hard work.

 Santa was down at the ice rink last weekend so the kids went to skate and see Santa. Mackston wanted nothing to do with Santa.

 

 

We are off to a very fun start to December and have lots of plans for the coming weeks.

Saint Nicholas Day

Happy Saint Nicholas Day!  Our kids we excited to wake up and find that Saint Nicholas came to visit and left treats and Christmas pajamas.

 

 

 Oh, we just love this little Christmas bunch!

Crew is 34 weeks old. He's a rolly polly, crawling machine these days!
