Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was busy but such an amazing day. We spent the morning making cookies and decorated them after nap.

Our cookies had lots of sprinkles.  I mean tons of sprinkles.

Grammy and Grampy arrived just at the tale end of cookie decorating.  They went to church with us for the 7pm mass.  I have never been to such a beautiful service. And it was such a good reminder of the reason for the season.

When we got home, we put out treats for Santa and his reindeer. A little message for Santa when he ate his snack.
Everyone was tired and Mackston was having none of this picture business.
The stockings were hung and the presents were placed and to bed we went to wait for the excitement of Christmas morning.

Weekly Blogdate

Life has been a little busy with the Christmas holiday but here are a few pictures from recently.
Brecken had a lot of fun at swim lessons one day.

Ellie went to visit the groomer, and Chesney was thrilled that she came back with bows in her hair.
 A little tug of war.
Jolly, our elf, had a diaper on and hid in the wipes container one day.
Sometimes you get distracted when changing clothes.
Only one cold lunch recently and of course it had to be holiday themed.

Dahl Family Christmas

Yesterday we celebrated Christmas with the Dahl side of the family.
Mackston was fired up for his first Christmas party.
Sweet little cousins all lined up.

The kids got so many nice gifts.

We had a wonderful meal and lots of treats and then the kids had time to play with their cousins.  We are looking forward to spending more time with these guys soon.

Mackston {29 Weeks Old}

It's Christmas week here and our littlest elf is 29 weeks old.

Mackston is a happy little man who prefers to be upright instead of laying.  He is a good night time sleeper and so so napper.  But either way, he is happy almost all day long.
Happy 29 weeks Mackston!

Chesney's Christmas Sing

Chesney had her Christmas program on Thursday.  It is so fun to see all those little people just singing their hearts out.  She sang with the Pre-K and 1st graders.  She had an afternoon performance where they wore uniforms and an evening performance in their fancy clothes.
After the afternoon program, we went to get the kids haircut and the lady who cuts our hair was nice enough to curl Chesney's for the evening program.

Looking like such a little cutie and ready to sing.
Chesney is in the back row towards the middle right side of the picture.
I just love watching that little girl perform.

Christmas Movie

On Saturday, December 12, my employer had their annual children's Christmas program.  This year we got to go watch The Good Dinosaur.  Our kid's are not the type to sit and watch a whole movie, so they were slightly restless, but they did love the popcorn and soda. Daddy was out of town so Grandma was nice enough to join us for the fun.
Afterwards they got a cookie and an ornament from Santa.
I love this festive little crew.

And Chesney decided she wanted to join Girl Scouts, and she had her first meeting this month.  So the same Saturday, we went over to the Girl Scout store in town and got her uniform.  They happened to be having a Christmas craft day at the store so we stayed for a bit and did crafts and had some snacks.
A little Elsa look alike at the Girl Scout store.
