Weekly Blogdate

I'm a couple weeks behind in my weekly happenings post, so here's a little picture overload!
Chesney is such a little mama to this baby boy.  And he loves every single minute of it.
Zonked in his cradle a few days before the big move to a crib.
On our way to family pictures and Brecken was ready to crash.
While Mackston was looking dapper for pictures.

More fun lunches for Chesney.

Brecken is finally enjoying swimming lessons.  He smiles and giggles during the class.  Lessons are so much more enjoyable (for both of us) when he is happy.
Tough guy insisted on bringing in the garbage can all by himself.  Who am I to argue?!?
Dance party with the kids while watching Dancing with the Stars.
Morning snuggles with Mackston before school.
 Happy boy snuggling his blankie.
The kid's were excited to pick out ideas from the toy catalog for Christmas.
Mackston has mastered spinning this toy.
But sometimes too much play leads to falling asleep while playing.
If no toys are available, there are always feet to play with.
He loves his baby brother, when he's not trying to wrestle with him.  The boy wrestling should end in about 15 years (maybe).
Halloween treats for Chesney's class.
Chesney decided we needed to make snow cones last week.  It happened to be the coldest night in a long time too.
This is now we grocery shop.
Saturday we went to Farm & Fleet to let the kid's pick out Christmas ideas.
Grammy stayed for a few days and has been doing lots of playing with the kids. Chesney and Grammy worked on a new puzzle.
Mackston played his socks off in the bouncer.
This sketchy handyman works in his underwear.  Seems dangerous but he does have goggles.

Happy Halloween

We had such an amazing Halloween. The kid's get so excited about holidays which makes them all the more fun.  Chesney decided last minute to be the orange fairy from Tinkerbell.  After a mad search for the costume, Daddy was able to get it at a store near his work. She had it just in time for her Halloween party at school.

Halloween morning we had some festive pancakes.
We hit the grocery store after breakfast and Mac was dressed to spook!
Then it was time for cookies. Everyone volunteered for taste testing.
Chesney helped cut out the cookies while Brecken napped.
While the cookies cooled, Chesney and Daddy carved the pumpkin.
 Which turned out beautiful!
Ready to decorate cookies. We used tons of sprinkles, and Brecken somehow ended up a lot of frosting on his face.
Finally it was time to get ready for trick or treating. Jake the pirate and Fawn the fairy were looking cute.
We call Mackston Macky moo so the cow costume was a perfect fit for him.
The kids started the night by handing out candy.  They loved this part.  At one point, I asked if they wanted to go trick or treating and they both said "no".  They wanted to keep handing out candy.
But when they got out, they loved trick or treating.  Grammy came down for the week and got to go out with us.  It was so fun to have her along for the memories!

We got back with all the treats and Chesney and Brecken dove into the treats. A very nice neighbor gave the kids some glow bracelets.

Chesney had a blast with them.
 Cutest cow ever!

We had such a wonderful Halloween.  Happy Halloween!
