Grandpa's 71st Birthday

Tonight we celebrated Grandpa's 71st birthday.

 

 We had some delicious ice cream cake and then hit the backyard rink for some hockey.

 

 The warming station was set up too.

 

Happy birthday Grandpa.  Thanks for letting us celebrate with you and skate.

Gifts of Togehterness - January

For Christmas we gave the kids a print out with a stack of 12 envelopes, one for each month of the year.  In each envelope is a family activity that we will be doing.  The kids have been so excited about this.

 

 Opening the January envelope which was tickets to a Wisconsin Badger hockey game.

 Each ticket came with a $10 food voucher which was Mackston's favorite part of the whole night. 

 We had so much fun at the hockey game and can't wait to make more memories.

Brecken's 7th Birthday

Our little guy turned 7 today.

 Our traditional birthday pancakes for breakfast.

He got this sweet lunch box in the mail from Grampy and Grammy.

 

 Brecken really likes to play the game Fortnite, so I surprised him and made a Fortnite cake.  When he came home from hockey practice he was pretty excited to see this cake.

 

 

 

 

 

 Grandpa and Grandma joined us for some cake, ice cream and gifts.

Happy 7th birthday Brecken! We love you so much!!

Cottage Christmas

We spent the week after Christmas at the cottage. Unfortunately we were hit with a stomach bug for part of the trip, but we still packed in a lot of fun.  There was gift opening, sledding, snowmobiling, fishing and lots of playing with cousins.
