Mommy-Daughter Girl Scout Night

Friday night we had a Mommy-Daughter night with all the Girl Scouts at Chesney's school.  There was also a sleep over, but I wasn't quite ready to leave Mackston over-night so we left late that evening. The party started at dinner time with a pizza party.  We then moved onto crafts and badge earning.

 Chesney made a necklace which turned out to be a super cute craft.

 

 

 We then played some games.

 And finished with a movie.

 Chesney was tired out by 10 so we headed home for the night.  I sure had a great time with my little lady.

Mackston {48 Weeks Old}

Little, big man turned 48 weeks and 11 months old today and hit a new milestone.  He took his first steps today.  I'll post a video of his first steps soon.

Mackston {First Steps}

Mackston took his first steps on April 30 at exactly 11 months old.

Chesney's Spring Sing

Chesney had Grandparent's Day and her spring sing on Tuesday.  The grandparent's arrived after lunch for a prayer service.  Chesney was chosen to read at the prayer service, and I was told she did a great job.  Then they got to go to her classroom for a little while before the spring sing.  

 The kids wore their uniforms for the afternoon concert.

 

 She also had an evening concert for which she got to wear a dress.  She did such an amazing job singing and dancing.

 Special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for spending the day with Chesney.

Soccer

Chesney and Brecken started soccer last week and loved it!

 

 

 Chesney was excited that 3 kids from her Kindergarten class were also in soccer with her.

 Brecken loves playing ball, whether it be baseball, football or soccer.  He just loves sports in general.  He was so excited to get on the field. 

 

 I mean look at the excitement on this little face.

 Moments like this make me think I'm going to love having a little boy in sports.

Make that 2 boys in sports. This little man is ready to join in too.

Mackston {7th Tooth}

Mackston's right upper lateral incisor came in today.  This is his 7th tooth.

Mackston {47 Weeks Old}

We are getting very close to that one year mark with this busy guy.

He's almost always a happy camper, except for when you try to take him back into the house when you have been playing outside.  I think we have our second boy who is going to want to be outdoors all of the time.

Ellie's 1st Birthday

Today our puppy turned 1 year old.  Chesney was so excited and made her a special card.

 

 Our pup has been such a great friend for our kids.

Mackston {6th Tooth}

Mackston's 6th tooth, his left upper lateral incisor, is through.

Mackston {46 Weeks Old}

Crazy man here at 46 weeks old.

Crawling, climbing, cruising, this boy is on the move all of the time.

Weekly Blogdate

We are still waiting for warmer weather but finding things to keep busy inside.

Brecken and Ryan were doing some repair work on the kitchen table.

 Weekly swimming lessons. I love when Brecken uses my phone to snap pictures.

 Sometimes breakfast calls for a big spoon.

 We have seen lots of rain and some snow lately.  It's a good thing Brecken got rain gear for his birthday.

 A new favorite in our house, Zingo.

 I asked Brecken to take a package out to the mailbox over the weekend.  He was so excited that he ran out the door and slipped on a patch of ice.  He went head over heels and landed on his face.  He came running back in crying and told me "I not ice skate any more".

 I went to tuck Brecken into bed one night and he had his dinosaur tucked in right next too him.

We are ready for some warm weather, so we hit up the Cone Zone to start the week.

Mackston {5th Tooth}

Mackston's 5th tooth came in today.  It is his left lower lateral incisor.

Mackston {45 Weeks Old}

45 weeks old now and he hardly looks like a baby anymore.

This boy will not sit still for anything.  So we had to resort to his favorite toy to get a picture...a ball. Happy 45 weeks Mackston!

Double Birthday Bash

This past weekend we celebrated Brecken's 3rd birthday and Chesney's 6th birthday with a Pixie and Pirates party.

 So many wonderful gifts.

 

 

 

 We had a couple pinatas to burn some energy.

 And then there was singing and cake eating.

 

 

 We had a great time celebrating these two sweeties with lots of family and friends.
