We spent the beginning of week 7 finishing our vacation in Upper Michigan. On Saturday we went to a parade in Crystal Falls. We love this parade because it is such a small town with such a bonded community.
We arrived home late Saturday night and spent Sunday relaxing by the pool.
We made an angel food cake for dessert. The kids were a big help.
Yummy!
The week was full of forts and outside play time.
Chesney made a mini spa for her Strawberry Shortcake doll one day. She's very creative.
We made some sidewalk chalk paint which the kids seemed to love.
The final product looked pretty cute!
Quite the fashion statement in his shorts and rain boots.
Wednesday night we went to the water-ski show.
Brecken was more excited about the boats but the ski team is amazing.
Lots of smiles this week from Mackston.
Mackston got to take part in a fort too.
Friday night we had sweet corn for dinner, and the helpers were out in full force.
Tattoos for the big kids (thanks to Aunt Susie and Uncle John).
And more pool time for a hot, hot, hot weekend.
And a hot weekend is never complete without ice cream!
Daddy caught a cat nap with Mac.
The weeks are flying by but we are having so much fun!
