Great Grandpa

God gained an amazing angel today, and great grandma is rejoicing that her Bob is back beside her.

 Chesney has spent quite a bit of time with Great Grandpa from a very young age.  They are graham cracker snack buddies! She spent a lot of afternoons at his house with Grandma. She was always so sweet with Great Grandpa and made sure he was doing his exercises.  

Today as we drove past the hospice where he was staying, she waved out the window and said "Hi Great Grandpa".   A little piece of my heart broke then when she teared up after I told her Great Grandpa went to be with Jesus and Great Grandma.  But I reassured her that they were probably playing cards.  And then she asked if Great Grandpa had wings.  Her little soul is so sweet, and she too knows he is safe in God's arms.

 These two share a love of snacks as well.  And they share well with each other.

 

 

 Our children are so blessed to have known Great Grandpa. We have so many sweet memories of this great man, awesome grandfather and amazing great grandfather.

We miss him already but are thankful that he is healed and with great grandma.  We love you so much Great Grandpa.   Until we meet again...
