This week the kids and I decided to make Daddy's favorite cookies one afternoon. I waited until Brecken was up from nap so he could "help" with the cookie making.
He loves loud noises, so he was happy to get involved.
Chesney unwrapped the kisses for me but had to sample some too!
This is what her wrapper pile looked like when she was done. I was pretty impressed that she organized them as she unwrapped them.
Meanwhile Brecken tasted the flour. While I rolled and baked the cookies, I let Brecken play in the little bit of flour that was left in the bag. He was entertained for nearly an hour just pouring flour back and fourth between the bag and a bowl. And he was full of flour by the time the cookies were done.

Brecken and Chesney were so excited to eat one.
I love my little helpers. They are just good messy fun!
