We just returned from a wonderful trip to Disney which was a blast. We left early Saturday morning and the kids were excited to watch the airplanes at the airport.
2 kiddos ready for a vacay!
Brecken fell asleep while we were taking off and slept for 30 minutes until Chesney woke him up. He then watched out the window or roamed by our feet and ate snacks until we arrived.
We arrived at the beautiful Grand Floridian and were surprised with a room upgrade which included daily breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages (including beer - which made Daddy happy).
We headed over to the Magic Kingdom where we went on the Ariel ride, the Winnie the Pooh ride and the carousel.
Then we stayed for the Wishes fireworks show which was amazing. The kids were beat and both fell asleep in our arms on our way back to the hotel.
Sunday
Sunday we ate breakfast at the hotel before heading to the Magic Kingdom at gates open to catch a few rides. Chesney was so excited to ride Barnstormer (the Goofy roller coaster.) She went with Daddy twice before moving on to the Dumbo ride.
We played in the playground before going on the Dumbo ride.
The playground has lots of sound effects and climbing areas, so the kids were big fans.
And of course they both loved the ride.
The first autograph Chesney got was from Ariel.
Brecken was not thrilled to be so close to a princess.
We also went to the Belle experience where Chesney got to play the part of the horse, Philippe. She did such a great job.
We went back to the hotel for Brecken to take a nap. I got to spend some quality time playing in the water and sand with Chesney.
On to yet another princess, Tiana, who brought her prince, Naveen, along.
And last and most importantly, she got to meet Anna and Elsa! She was thrilled.
Monday
We once again started our day at the Magic Kingdom. We went on the Aladdin ride first.
Chesney and Daddy went on Splash Mountain and then the new Seven Dwarfs Mine ride. Brecken screams if I walk away from him, so I didn't get to ride any of the bigger rides this year (only the ones he could ride with me).
Gaston also made an appearance.
We cooled off in the water area and Chesney and Daddy went on the Barnstormer one more time.
After naps we played in the water and sand.
Chesney loved the big slide at the hotel which I was able to go on with her while Brecken napped.
Daddy had lots of fun with his little lady in the pool.
Dance parties happened a lot at the hotel because Brecken learned very quickly how to the turn the clock radio on.
Chesney got a Frozen lollipop to snack on.
Monday night we returned to the Magic Kingdom to see Tinkerbell.
We ended the night at the Electrical Parade. Brecken oohed and aahed at all the floats.
