Brecken {19 Weeks Old}

Brecken is 19 weeks old and full of giggles.  He loves to watch Chesney play and has now started giggling at her.  I'm talking full belly laughs.  It might be the sweetest thing I've ever seen!

Chesney's 1st Big Haircut

Chesney's hair has become a mess to manage.  It gets tangled so easily since it is getting long. So, today we decided to take her to get it cut.

 

 The picture below makes me want to cry. I love those curls.

 

 Here she is with her shorter hair.  I'm so hoping her curl stays. 

 

Brecken {18 Weeks Old}

Oh my little man, you are growing up so quickly.  You are such a happy little man and love to coo and smile! Nothing makes me happier than kissing and hugging you.

Worn Out

Last weekend, Grammy & Grampy came down for Brecken's baptism.  Chesney was already tired from the baptism on Saturday, but Grammy & Grampy did their best to burn some energy with Chesney before they left on Sunday.

  Brecken got this pony for his baptism (from Kate, Kyle & Payten), but Chesney is breaking it in for him.  Grampy decided to race on the bouncy cow.

 Then they played some Wheels on the Bus while we cleaned up breakfast dishes.

 After everyone was ready, we headed to Palmer Park.  Chesney loves this park!

 Brecken just peaked out of his car seat and then fell asleep.

 Chesney spent most of the time on at the older part of the park with the classic metal slide. It's "speedy fast" as she likes to say.

 

 

 

 So much fun that she was worn out!

Brecken's Baptism

Brecken was baptized on Saturday, May 11, 2013.  I love that he was baptized on Mother's Day weekend (just like his sister was).  We invited the family over for lunch before the baptism.

 

 Brecken got some supper cute gifts including this print.

 Such a happy man!  Brecken wore the same outfit his daddy wore for his baptism 31 years ago.

 

 Jon, Tanya and Emma and Kate, Kyle and Payten were there too, but we didn't get any pictures of them.  Thanks to all of them for making the long drive. These 3 were on their best behavior.

  Big sister was so excited for Brecken to get baptized.  She kept asking when he was going to get baptized as the Priest was starting the service.

 

Father Randy was so sweet to involve Chesney in the baptism too.

Brecken {4 Months Old}

 I have a hard time believing you have been with us for 4 months.  We have watched you learn so much!  I love you to pieces little man. You had a busy but special month.

 You flew a kite with your sister.

 "Helped" build a swing set at Grandpa and Grandma's house.

 Took in everything your big sister had to share.

 Rolled from your back to tummy (May 2, 2013).

 Got baptized at St. John Vianney Church (May 11, 2013).

 Helped mommy celebrate Mother's Day.

 And made this family even happier.

• Weight: 13 pounds 7 ounces (12th percentile)
• Length: 25.5 inches (64th percentile)

• Clothes: You are wearing a few 0-3 month clothes but mostly 3-6 month clothes. You have a very long torso!

• Shoes: We have not put shoes on you yet.

• Diapers: Pampers Size 1-2 and cloth diapers when we are home.

• Food: Just mommy milk

• Development: You rolled from your back to tummy on May 2, 2013.  Now when we lay you down, you roll almost instantly to your tummy.  You also like to roll around in your crib.

• Words: None

• Sleep:  You sleep from 8:30 pm to 6:30 or 7am. Napping for a couple hours in the morning and a nap or two in the afternoon and usually a cat nap around dinner too. If we drive somewhere or go for a walk, you usually fall asleep.

• What I love about you: You are so giggly now and smile at anyone who talks to you.  You are taking everything in now that you can roll around.  We love how happy you are, and how much you love to be snuggled!
