Baby #2 - 23 Weeks

• How far along: 23 weeks
• Size of baby: measures over 11 inches — about the size of a mago— and weighs over 1 pound
• Total Weight Gain: 11 pounds
• Maternity Clothes: Not yet.  Wearing loose fitting dresses to work.
• Gender: We are having a BOY!
• Sleep: It is hard to fall back to sleep when I wake up at night.
• Cravings: Apple juice, cheese, pasta
• Anything making you queasy or sick?  Powder scented stuff (lotion, deodorant) and any strong scents (even the smell of my shampoo makes me sick)
• Best moment this week: Getting more ready in the nursery and buying baby clothes
• What I miss most: My clothes looking normal
• Symptoms: Nausea - very mild, vomiting - non-existent this week
• What I'm looking forward to: More boy clothes shopping, getting out the gender neutral stuff from Chesney's babyhood.
• Movement: Lots of kicks, especially when I slow down enough to notice them.
