Here is what you are doing at 4 months:
- Weight: 11 lbs (5.6 percentile)
- Length: 24 inches (32.3 percentile)
- Clothes: You are wearing 0-3 month clothes. Your toes are starting to get to the end of your sleepers so we may have to move you up a size soon.
- Shoes: You can now where your newborn shoes without them falling off. And they fit well enough now that you can't kick them off! Yay!
- Diapers: size 1 and we are experimenting with using cloth diapers
- Food: You have turned into an eating machine this month. You are eating so much that I can't keep up with you anymore. You are getting formula only when we run out of breast milk.
- Development: You love to smile, talk, and laugh out loud. And you have the cutest giggle. You still go crazy with talking and smiling when you are on the changing table. You rolled over (back to front) for the first time on July 17.
- Words: None
- Sleep: You continue to sleep through the night, 8:30 to 9 pm until 6 to 6:30 am. Napping is still a little tricky but you are falling into a better pattern of sleeping in the morning and either late morning or early afternoon. You still like to sleep in our arms for naps. Over the past few days, you have been sleeping without your swaddle blanket. I was amazed that you were able to sleep through the night the first time we put you to bed without it.
- Teeth: None yet
- What I love about you: You definitely know who your mommy and daddy are and it melts my heart when you smile so big for us. You can make some monster splashes in the tub now. Water is usually running down the mirror when you are done...but it is so fun! And you are so ticklish and you get the cutest little smile and laugh when we tickle you. I love it!
