Brecken's Field Trip

Brecken went on a field trip with his kindergarten class to an apple orchard this week, and I was lucky enough to go along.

 

 I'm pretty sure I love field trip days as much as the kids do.

 They learned all bout apple picking.

 

 And then they got to pick a whole bag of apples to take home.

 

 

 

 

I had so much fun hanging out with my little guy for the morning.

Crew {13th and 14th Teeth}

Crew's right and left upper canines are coming through. These are his 13th and 14th teeth.

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Today is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, the day we celebrate all those babies that have gone to soon. God had bigger plans for those tiny babes who are waiting and looking over us. Even though they were only here for a while, they are forever in our hearts.

Psalms 139:16 "..all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Crew {18 Months Old}

Crew is a year and a half old.

Here is what you have been up to over the past month...

 

Enjoying yogurt.

Visiting the big equipment.

Being Mommy's work out buddy.

Watching the big siblings at swimming lessons.

• Weight: 22 lbs 4 oz (23 percentile) 
• Length: 31.75 inches (25 percentile)
• Clothes: You are wearing size 12-18 month clothes and 12-18 month sleepers.
• Shoes: You wear size 5 shoes
• Diapers: You wear cloth diapers almost always.
• Food: Mommy milk and water.
• Development: You love to ride a little bike outside. You will climb to get to stuff if you need to.
• Words: You are starting to pick a few more words but the most used are "ni-ni" (good night) and "tay to" (thank you).
• Teeth: You have 12 teeth
• Sleep:  You sleep through the night and take an afternoon nap.
• What I love about you: You are a smart little guy and follow directions so well. You are a great snuggler.

Ice Skate, Dance, Swim...Repeat

With school back in full swing, our days have been busy with all sorts of extra activities.

Brecken and Mackston are taking skating lessons together.  I was certain they were both going to cry, but I was so wrong.  They are both super excited to go every week and all smiles.  Mackston just thinks its so cool to follow Brecken around on the ice.

 

 

 Saturdays are full morning with ice skating and swim for the boys and dance and swim for Chesney.

 Chesney started rehearsals for her competition team this past weekend. It is so much fun to watch her learn these dances and to see her dance her little heart out at home.

 

She was happy to meet her "big sister" for dance, Emma, this week too.  We are looking forward to a year of dance.

September Fun

Now that the big kids are back in school, our home days are filled with parks and learning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 Snuggles and nose picking with Daddy before bed.

 Mackston was so proud of his monster tower.

 Crew dumped Ellie's food on the floor one day and then went into the closet and brought the broom over to clean it up. And by cleaning it up I mean using the broom to push it all into the corner.

Monster Machines

Daddy had a golf outing on Sunday so Grandma and I took the kids to see the big diggers at the Monster Machines fundraiser in town.

 

 We took a ride in a giant dump truck.  Chesney and Brecken rode together, and I rode with Mackston and Crew. Mackston got to drive the dump truck.

 

 

 

 

 Then the kids each took a ride in the excavator.

 

 

 

 They had an offroad course set up, so we jumped in one of the trucks and took a ride.  The kids LOVED driving fast over the bump path.

 

 

 They climbed and climbed and climbed the rock piles.

 

 

 

 

 And they climbed on diggers and tractors too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Before we left the kids dug for pennies in the sand.  They dug for over an hour. 

We certainly had a lot of entertainment at the Monster Machines fundraiser.
