Scoopie Night

Chesney's 1st grade class served at Culver's last week for Scoopie Night.
She was so excited to serve food and told me she was big enough this year to carry the trays by herself.  And she was right.  She did such an amazing job.

Monster Machines

We spent last Sunday taking in all the big diggers at a local fundraiser.
There were lots of rock piles to climb.

Someone insisted on wearing a crown.
Chesney was the only one brave enough to ride in the digger.

They climbed on a lot of big machines.

This was a huge pile of rocks to climb.  But they had so much fun sliding down after they made it to the top.

We had some worn out kiddos, but they had a blast.

Summer Wrap Up

We made the most of August and the last bits of summer by spending lots of time outside.
When your bike is too small for a kick-stand, you use the pedal.
 Bubbles make everyone happy.

Slip and slide to cool off.

 Followed by dinner outside.
 Someone loves smoothies.
 Snuggles with the boys.
Ryan and Brecken are quite a pair.  They were using a rubber glove as a golf glove.

One day we hit two parks and the splash pad.  These were some happy kiddos.

This was the new park we found.  We sent Daddy the picture below.  He responded with "Where are you?  Jurassic Park?  Good one Daddy!

The park was hot, so we got a little ice cream to cool down.
Learning to roller blade was on the to do list for the kids.  Chesney has it figured out.

And Chesney has recently decided that she wants to learn to cook everything.  So I let her help in the kitchen a lot.
The Power Wheels needed a tune up.
Someone spilled Rice Krispies on the floor.  He was pretty proud of himself.
