Weekly Blogdate

This season is full of so much fun and joy!
These poor pictures on our wall are adjusted 50 times weekly.  Little rugrats like to play on the couch and somehow these always end up crooked in the process. I'll miss this someday all too soon. Then I'll probably adjust them crooked just to remember these times.
Holiday themed lunches this week.
Chesney had to do some writing for school.  She's such a good little student.
Mackston was watching her draw and fell asleep.
Beginning of December means Advent calendars for the kids.  They love doing these every morning.
Brecken, Mackston and I visited the library one morning while Chesney was in school.
Christmas gifts are arriving.  I love shopping online, no lines and the packages are delivered to my doorstep!
Mackston's little legs crossed while he was eating one day.
Two teeth coming through.
Daddy got a nice Godiva gift basket from some kind person at work.
 But when the kids asked for a piece we gave them the cheap stuff.  Shhh...don't tell.
Lazy puppy likes to lay down while she eats.
Fast forward two years and these two will be all kinds of trouble.
Singing Christmas carols calls for the elf hat.
December weather in the 50s means golf weather.
Oh Jolly!  He wanted to golf too.
Chesney's school participated in the city Christmas parade. She loved riding on the float with one of her besties, Hannah.
And we watched some fireworks from the car after the parade.
Shoes set out for St. Nick. They were filled with treats in the morning.
This little ham is such a sweetie!
A boy and his trucks.
Jolly caught a ride on the reindeer one day.
 More foods for Mackston.  He liked the bananas best.

Mackston {28 Weeks Old}

28 weeks old and we are so looking forward to celebrating Christmas with this guy.
 He's getting to be a busy boy, rolling and wiggling around.  He's eating dinner with us nightly, still boycotting naps but sleeping like a champ at night and being a full time charmer.
 Happy 28 weeks handsome.  Love you so much!

Mackston {27 Weeks Old}

Someone is 27 weeks old and pretty excited about it.
  He's been sleeping through the night, but he's still fighting naps most of the time.  I'm sure his sleeping routine will get all messed up when we go out of town in a few weeks.
  I love how he looks so mischievous in this picture.
Happy 27 weeks sweetie! Check out the tongue curling laugh below.

Mackston {1st Meal}

Mackston has been interested in eating for so long.  He loves to chew on his tongue and make smacking noises while we eat and his little feet run like crazy whenever I fill up my water cup.  So tonight he officially had his first food. I very much dislike this milestone because I would rather be his only food source for longer, but the boy wants his food.
 He was ready to join the dinner table.
 His first meal was carrots and chicken.  Yes, those are full pieces of food.  We are doing baby led weaning with Mackston which is a form of feeding in which you give the baby pieces of food instead of purees.  This is a new thing for us too so we shall see how Mackston likes it.

 He spent most of the time trying to grab food to get it into his mouth.  When he did finally get a carrot in his mouth, he gnawed on it and made a face like he didn't care for the taste.

 He mainly chewed on the chicken.

 I'm not sure that anything made it down besides some carrot flavored saliva, but it was a successful first meal.
