Chesney's Dance Showcase

We had a full weekend of dance, Saturday to practice for the showcase and Sunday was the dance showcase. 

 Chesney was so excited for the first go at her team dance.

 The dressing room was full of excitement.

Brecken's QU Wedding

Each year, the kindergarten class has a QU wedding.  Since these letters are always paired together, the kids celebrate that togetherness with a special wedding where they each get a part. This year was extra special however because a boy in Brecken's class has a dad who is a barber and a girl has a mom who is a hairdresser.  The little boy's dad came in the day before the wedding and cut each of the boy's hair and the girl's mom came in the day of the wedding to fix the girl's hair. Brecken's class has 2 girls and 9 boys, so one girl was the bride and the other had double duty being a flower girl and maid of honor.  Brecken was a groomsman. 

 His teacher, Mrs. Arndt is truly the best.

 

 

 

 

 

 And they celebrated with cake and QU cheese. Such a fun tradition.

Life Lately...

These winter months are passing by, leaving lots of snow and ice behind. We have been cooped up inside taking care of projects and enjoying some time relaxing.

 Chesney and I practiced some cookie decorating on some cookies I froze before Christmas.

Crew apparently hangs out with the dog too much.

 

 We celebrated Grandpa's 70th birthday.

 We finally started the bathroom remodel by tearing the tile off around the tub.  Everyone had to get their hands in on this project.

 Chesney and I took a valentine cookie decorating class with grandma.  This time Chesney had her own cookies to decorate, and she was so excited.

We had a little stomach bug hit our house last weekend.  Crew was a little tired, and I found him curled up in his toy box with his sleep sack and blankie.
