Kickin' it with Daddy

Our last weekend was relaxing, aside from wondering when baby boy is going to arrive.  We were able to get a lot of organizing done in the basement, took all the Christmas decorations down and put out all the snowman decor.

Baby #2 - 38 Weeks

• How far along: 38 weeks
• Size of baby: measures about 19-21 inches — about the size of a pumpkin and weighs 6-9 pounds
• Total Weight Gain: 31 pounds
• Maternity Clothes: Mainly dresses and maternity jeans with tops.
• Gender: We are having a BOY!
• Sleep: Waking up a lot at night with contractions (which never last longer than a few hours) and to go to the bathroom
• Cravings: Chocolate and anything sweet.
• Anything making you queasy or sick?  Powder scented stuff (I can't stand powder scented deodorant)
• Best moment this week: Spending Christmas with Chesney. 
• What I miss most: Nothing at this point.  I'm feeling great.
• Symptoms: Nesting.  Contractions - false labor. 
• What I'm looking forward to: Meeting this little guy! 
• Movement: He is still kicking a lot, and you can see a foot push out at the top of my stomach from time to time.

Christmas 2012

We had such an amazing Christmas.  This is the first year that Chesney understood and got excited about Christmas which made it even more fun!

 I think she was a good girl!

 

 Once she started opening presents, she wanted to stop to play with everything.  And more than once we heard "this is awesome!"

 

 Daddy got a couple video games.

 

 She loved her strawberry shortcake dolls and cake/tea sets.

 

 And she always uses Mommy's robe, so we got one for her.  She loved it!

 After a breakfast and play break, we came back to gift opening. One of the most exciting things was the new train table!  I think this will be hours of fun in the months to come.

 

 

 Another favorite was her princess tent.  She has already had dance parties in there.  I'm so excited for her to have so many new toys to play with.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at Great Grandpa's house.   It was a smaller than normal gathering but we all had a great time.

 Such a sweet girl.  She was beyond tired when we left but after a nap had lots of time to play with her new toys at home.

 

 Before bed, she put cookies out for Santa and said goodbye to her elf, Jolly.

Sledding

Chesney and Daddy went sledding today and to say Chesney had a good time is an understatement!

Christmas 2012 - Grandma & Grandpa

We spent today at Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate Christmas.  Unfortunately, Jon, Tanya and Emma couldn't make it.  There were only a few presents for the 3 kids who were there.

 

 They all had fun opening presents.

 

 

 Chesney & Allie got matching Disney Princess dolls for the tub.

 One of Ryan's favorite gifts was a pop gun.

 

 Chesney was in love with her new puppy!

 The kids had so much fun playing together that night.  Thanks grandma and grandpa for spoiling our little girl and us!
